Reduce Recovery time with Acupuncture!

I have seen remarkable results treating a variety of acute injuries with Acupuncture. It never ceases to amaze me how effective Acupuncture is at reducing swelling, improving range of motion, decreasing pain and promoting a rapid recovery in all injuries I have treated.

I find the most effective treatment for most injuries is a combination of Acupuncture, Massage, Moxibustion and light stretching.

For acute injuries, treatment is most effective more regularly. I recommend daily treatments for 2-3 days depending on the severity of the injury and how quickly the patient needs to get back to training.

Acupuncture can also be of benefit for more chronic injuries where range of motion is still limited or there are problems with swelling and pain of the affected area. For more chronic conditions I recommend treatment on a weekly basis.

I often advise patients to take nutritional supplements to assist the body in repairing soft tissue damage and to reduce swelling.
